Read a project's actual costs
Each budget line beside the accounting costs pulled against it, for one project.
This is budget vs. actual for one deal, line by line. Every budget code is listed with the costs your accounting file has recorded against it, so the question of whether a line is tracking is answered on the row rather than in a spreadsheet somebody rebuilds monthly.
Costs are matched to a code when they are pulled, not when this page is drawn. This page reads what the last sync wrote and rolls it up.
Also in the books
Costs that were pulled and could not be matched to a budget code appear separately rather than being dropped. A value left unmapped does not count toward a budget, which is the right answer for accounts a developer does not track as job costs, and the wrong answer to arrive at silently.

The connection to a real accounting company file has been exercised against staged files rather than end to end against a live company. The mapping and the roll-up are real; the sync that fills them is the part still to be proved on a customer's own file.
