Import a schedule as rules
Read a tracker workbook's plan formulas and bring the schedule over as anchored rules rather than as typed dates.
A schedule in a workbook is usually not a list of dates. It is a set of rules: this task starts a number of days after that approval, and everything after it moves when the approval moves. Importing only the dates throws that away and leaves somebody retyping the plan every time one slips.
This page reads the plan behind the workbook and brings the schedule over as rules. A task arrives anchored to the event it depends on, with its offset, so the cascade works from the first day.
After the import
Anchors live on the project schedule. Move one and every date derived from it moves with it. That is the point of importing rules rather than values.

Known limits
The reader expects a plan expressed as offsets from named events. A workbook whose dates were all typed by hand carries no rules to read, and those rows are better brought over with import dates.
The workbook reader has two published security advisories and no patched release available on the package registry. The same caution applies here as on the dates import.
